COUNTDOWN TO CORRI LA VITA 2026

CORRI LA VITA

CORRI LA VITA is a project that began in 2003 to support women affected by breast cancer, funding initiatives related to prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of this disease.

From its very first edition, CORRI LA VITA has captivated Florence, initially taking place in Piazza Santa Croce for the first six years, then moving to Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Signoria, and now held at the Parco delle Cascine, a green Medicean oasis in the heart of the city. Since then, participation has steadily increased, reaching nearly 540,000 participants. The 2020 and 2021 editions were held in a phygital format: the first exclusively online and the second also broadcast on Toscana TV due to restrictions imposed by the health emergency. Despite these challenges, over 40,000 t-shirts were distributed, and more than 10,000 reservations for cultural sites were made in both 2020 and 2021. Since 2022, CORRI LA VITA has returned to its traditional in-person format.

All funds raised by the CORRI LA VITA Association are allocated to these objectives, thanks to the support of volunteers.

Over the past 22 years, approximately €10,200,000 has been raised, and more than 580,000 participants have been involved.

The event traditionally features two routes—approximately 6.2 km and 11 km long—and is designed as a moment of sports and culture, but above all, it is a commitment to social engagement. It serves as a unique opportunity to have fun and connect with a reality that we encounter daily.
