CORRI LA VITA24th EDITION
27ht SEPTEMBER 2026 MORE THAN 44,000 PEOPLE RAN AND WALKED THROUGH THE STREETS OF FLORENCE
More than 44,000 people took part in the 24th edition of CORRI LA VITA, choosing to run or walk through the streets of Florence while making a concrete contribution to projects dedicated to breast cancer prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
This year, too, the event raised more than €1 million, thanks to donations collected in the months leading up to the event, registration fees and the many initiatives organised around the event.
Among the first participants to cross the finish line of the non-competitive race, Maddalena Pizzamano was the first woman, followed by Camilla Fioriti and Alice Boncompagni. In the men’s category, Ayoub Bouras was first, followed by Lablaida Abdeluoahed.

The event was officially started by Claudio Stecchi, Italian indoor pole vault record holder, together with supermodel Mariacarla Boscono. Also at the starting line to greet participants were Sara Funaro, Mayor of Florence, and Eugenio Giani, President of the Tuscany Region.
From the starting point on Viale Lincoln, in the Cascine Park, to the finish line at the Loggia dei Lanzi in Piazza della Signoria, the cyclamen pink of the 2026 T-shirt, generously provided by Ferragamo, accompanied thousands of people along the two routes. It was a day in which sport, culture and solidarity came together in the heart of the city.
The success of the 24th edition was made possible thanks to an ever-growing network of institutions, companies, associations, volunteers and citizens.
A special thank you goes to the LILT Firenze volunteers, who helped distribute the T-shirts and supported activities in the squares; the Firenze Marathon volunteers, who were present along the entire route; and the volunteers from Città Nascosta and FILE, who supported the guided tours of the city’s cultural landmarks.
HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY
