CORRI LA VITA
23rd EDITION

28ht SEPTEMBER 2025
OVER 40,000 T-SHIRTS DISTRIBUTED

Over 40,000 T-shirts distributed for the 23rd edition of CORRI LA VITA, the event that combines sport, culture, and solidarity, while supporting fundraising for breast cancer treatment projects.

At the starting line stage set up in Parco delle Cascine, alongside Eleonora Frescobaldi, President of the CORRI LA VITA Onlus Association, were Sara Funaro, Mayor of Florence, Eugenio Giani, President of the Tuscany Region, athletes from the Rari Nantes Florentia Ability Water Polo Team, along with Giancarlo Antognoni and Leonardo Fabbri.

The first participants to cross the finish line of the non-competitive race were:
Men – Bouvas Ayoub, Lablaida Abdel, and Lorenzo Caponetti;
Women – Maddalena Pizzamanno, Valentina Giachetti, and Alice Boncompagni.

The three largest participating groups in CORRI LA VITA 2025 were: Baker Hughes, ASTRO Association, and Salvatore Ferragamo.

Many celebrities lit up the morning on the Piazza della Signoria stage, hosted by long-time presenter Eva Edili. Among them were Paolo Vallesi, Dolcenera and her partner Gigi Campanile (“I Complici” from Pechino Express), Luisa Corna, Giulia Mazzoni, Matteo Restivo and Lorenzo Zazzeri, Gianmaria Vassallo, Alessandro Canino and his daughter Guya, the duo Lorenzo and Roberto (known as @du.toscani on Instagram), Donatella Milani, the Pink4Defender crew, and a performance by the Carabinieri Fanfare on the Arengario of Palazzo Vecchio.

But the day wasn’t confined to the stage. Between Ponte Vecchio and Ponte alla Carraia, the performative action “SCORRERE” curated by Virgilio Sieni, with artistic assistance from Maria Vittoria Feltre, involved the Florence Dragon Lady LILT team.

Many participants were also able to visit some of Florence’s most beautiful locations free of charge—museums and exhibitions included—simply by wearing the CORRI LA VITA T-shirt, thanks to the collaboration with the Città Nascosta Association.

In Piazza della Repubblica, from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28, the “Health Village” was set up, offering mammograms via the mobile unit donated by CORRI LA VITA to ISPRO. The area also hosted a fitness trail curated by TSH The Social Hub, managed by Michele Franzone, in collaboration with top fitness studios in Florence.

Within the dedicated booths, Barberino Outlet handed out gadgets and special offers to all visitors, as did La Rinascente, while MedLight provided medical consultations. Other spaces were dedicated to interactions with LILT nutritionists, with free “Health Pills” cards and gifts from Conad Nord Ovest available for pickup.

Meanwhile, in Piazza della Signoria, on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28, free melanoma prevention screenings were conducted in the LILT Camper.

Photos posted by participants on Instagram could enter the contest “The Best Photo for CORRI LA VITA, using the hashtag #corrilavita2025. The winner, selected by a panel of experts, will receive a €300 voucher for photographic equipment offered by Nikon Italia, redeemable at Ottica Fontani.

A heartfelt thank you to the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT) and Firenze Marathon—both of whom collaborate in organizing the event—and to their volunteers.
Special thanks also go to the volunteers from Città Nascosta and FILE for the guided tours of cultural sites, and to Adiconsum for providing the trophies.

Thank you to videomaker Lapo Pecchioli, Adelaide Corbetta, and Matteo Bonan for their photo services.
Gratitude also to Engineer Giovanni Corsi, Head of Safety, and Maurizio Orrigo, Head of Setups.
