CORRI LA VITA 2025
REGULATIONS
1) Programme and information
Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus organises ‘Corri la Vita’ in partnership with LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori – the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer), Associazione Provinciale di Firenze (the Florence Provincial Association) and Maratona di Firenze (the Florence Marathon). This recreational event features two routes through the city streets, one of about 10 km and the other of about 5 km.

The 23rd edition of Corri la Vita will be held in Florence on Sunday 28ht September 2025, starting at 9:15 a.m. at Viale Lincoln – Piazza Vittorio Veneto and ending in Piazza della Signoria.

A volunteer from Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus will hold a board reading ‘FINE CORSA’ (END OF RACE) detailing the time limits for both distances.
Participants who are still running past the cut-off for each distance must respect the Italian Highway Code, as road closures may no longer be in effect.

Both routes will be considered completed at 12.30pm.
2) How to take part
As the initiative is recreational and not competitive, participation is open to everyone (with no rankings, chips or medal ceremony).
To take part in the event, you can register online through the Corri la Vita website (www.corrilavita.it/en/) by completing the registration form in full.
Participants must comply with these Regulations and all relevant legislation in force, including but not limited to the current Italian Highway Code and all possible requirements and provisions indicated by the Uffizi Gallery for use of the Loggia dei Lanzi, as well as any Covid emergency regulations in force on the day of the event.
3) Registration
Registration is open from 1st September 2025 to 28ht September 2025.
Registration can only take place via the methods set out in the previous point. Minors can only be registered by a parent/guardian, who must complete the appropriate form, in accordance with these Regulations and the above methods and assuming all responsibility.
While dogs may take part in the event, access to cultural sites for people with pets is at the discretion of the owner/manager thereof and cannot be guaranteed by Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus.
4) Corri la Vita 2025 T-shirts
To obtain the official event T-shirt (while stocks last), offered by Salvatore Ferragamo, a donation of at least 10 (ten) euro must be made to Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus through one of the shops supporting the initiative or by making a purchase online via the methods listed at www.corrilavita.it/en/.
Upon entering the cordoned-off area from Viale Lincoln to Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the participant acknowledges and guarantees, under his/her sole responsibility, that he/she is registered for the 2025 edition of Corri la Vita on his/her own behalf and on the behalf on any accompanying minors.
5) Toilets and other useful facilities
Chemical toilets will be available near the start-finish area.
6) First aid
First aid is managed by the Misericordie and ANPAS, assisted by the 118 emergency medical attention control centre in Florence.
7) Liability
Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus will only accept participants registered via the methods set out in points 2) and 3) of these Regulations.
Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus and all collaborating bodies are relieved of any liability for any damage and/or expenses (including legal costs) that the participant may incur during the sports event, including as a result of any injuries and/or his/her state of health and/or behaviour and/or that of others and/or damage to the property of others.
Upon registering to participate in Corri la Vita, the participant declares that he/she understands and accepts these Regulations.
These Regulations, the only ones in force, can be accessed and consulted at www.corrilavita.it/en/.
In accordance with the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, persons registered to participate in the event consent to the processing and sharing of their personal data by Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus for purposes associated with holding the event and any publication of the results, and also for their use by Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus and bodies and/or consultants working with Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus, always respecting the purposes of the latter.
Upon registering to take part in the event, the participant specifically authorises Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus to take photographs and video and to use images depicting the participant during the event, including for the creation of videos, notice boards, and printed and online publications (including downloads), specifically waiving any right and/or claim thereto, including financial ones.
Subject to specific consent, upon registering to take part in the event, the participant authorises Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus to send information on subsequent events and/or initiatives proposed by Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus or other charitable initiatives promoted by bodies that assist and/or work with Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus, including through newsletters.
8) Complaints
Given the social and non-competitive nature of the event, neither verbal nor written complaints will be accepted.
9) Regulations (published on corrilavita.it/en/)
The organisation reserves the incontestable right to make changes to these Regulations and/or the event routes at any time.
10) Event cancellation
Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus reserves the incontestable right to cancel the event of 28ht September 2025 at any time due to force majeure, included but not limited to situations related to the Covid emergency. In this case, given the charitable purposes of Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus, event participants will not have any right to reimbursement, nor can they make any claims against Associazione Corri la Vita Onlus for any reason
