CORRI LA VITA
28 September 2025
23rd edition
DEPARTURE at 9:15 AM from Viale Lincoln (Parco delle Cascine)
ARRIVAL at Piazza della Signoria
FLORENCE
CORRI LA VITA is the first non-competitive running event in Europe that combines sport, culture, and solidarity. It has become an unmissable event for tens of thousands of enthusiasts—not only from Florence—and for this reason, it has just received UNESCO patronage.
On Sunday, September 28, a river of people will wind its way from Parco delle Cascine to Piazza della Signoria: men and women of all ages, families, groups of friends, and colleagues will take part in the event, filling the streets of Florence with color thanks to the official T-shirts, once again specially designed this year by Ferragamo for the Association.
As every year, the event is organized in collaboration with Lilt Firenze and Firenze Marathon.
In the morning, a stage will be set up along the Arno in the area of Viale Lincoln, in the Cascine Park, to kick off the twenty-third edition of CORRI LA VITA at 9:15 a.m.; friends and ambassadors of the event will then move to Piazza della Signoria for the arrival of the runners. On stage, hosted by the long-time presenter of CORRI LA VITA, Eva Edili, many guests will enliven the morning: Paolo Vallesi, Dolcenera, Luisa Corna, Giulia Mazzoni, Matteo Restivo and Lorenzo Zazzeri, Gianmaria Vassallo.
THE ROUTES AND CULTURAL DESTINATIONS
Participants can choose between two routes with varying levels of difficulty — one of approximately 10 km for those who wish to run, and another of 4 km for those who prefer to enjoy the many cultural destinations along the way.
CORRI LA VITA offers everyone the chance to spend a unique day in Florence: on Sunday, September 28, participants will have the opportunity to visit some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks for free, such as the Opera di Santa Croce, the Museo di Palazzo Vecchio, the Museo di Santa Maria Novella, the Museo Novecento, the Forte di Belvedere, the Stibbert Museum, the Pecci Center, and many more.
This year’s highlights include Palazzo Strozzi with the newly opened Beato Angelico exhibition, the Church of San Salvatore al Vescovo in Piazza dell’Olio, the courtyard of Palazzo Gondi in Piazza San Firenze, the brand-new Piazza Maria Callas built on the site of the former Teatro Comunale, and for the little ones, the H ZERO Museum.
Those coming from outside Florence who wish to stay at the Human Company accommodations just outside the city will have access to a special discount code, “CORRILAVITA25”, which grants a 10% discount on stays at hu Firenze camping in town.
The coupon must be entered during the booking process on the website https://firenze.huopenair.com/it/ and is valid for the nights of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — September 26, 27, and 28, 2025.
THE HEALTH VILLAGE – Piazza della Repubblica
From Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28, the “Health Village” will be set up in Piazza della Repubblica, where visitors will be able to undergo mammograms on the mobile unit donated by CORRI LA VITA to ISPRO, take part in fitness classes such as gymnastics, yogalates, flowfit, postural training, and pilates, take aptitude tests with the team of Michele Franzone / The Social Hub.
At the Barberino Outlet gazebo, visitors will receive gadgets and special promotions, while at the MedLight gazebo, they can also take aptitude tests.
Other dedicated spaces will offer opportunities to speak with nutritionists and sports doctors, and visitors will be able to pick up free “Health Tips” cards, Conad Nord Ovest gifts, and event t-shirts (while supplies last), all to support the fundraising initiative.
The official opening of the “Health Village” is scheduled for Friday, September 26 at 12:00 PM, with the participation of key local institutions.
THE GRAPHIC AMBASSADOR AND THE SPECIAL GUEST TESTIMONIAL
The graphic ambassador for this edition is the Basilica of Santo Spirito — whose entire complex is at the center of a lively debate in the city regarding its future — which, through the imagination of illustrator Chiara Xie, is wearing the CORRI LA VITA T-shirt for the occasion.
The first testimonial for the 2025 edition is actress Benedetta Porcaroli, joined by prominent figures from the world of entertainment, music, and beyond. Starting with Margherita Cassano, the first woman to serve as President of the Court of Cassation, alongside Sir Anthony Pappano, Matteo Restivo, Pyrex, Sal Da Vinci, Marco Giallini, Gianmaria Vassallo, Riccardo Fogli, Benji & Fede, Enrica Merlo, Giulia Mazzoni, Martina Ferragamo, Giulia Vecchio, Carl Brandon Strehlke, Paola Severini, and many others.
The T-shirt and Registrations (from September 1)
Starting September 1, it will be possible to secure one of the 38,000 coveted Ferragamo “bijou blue” T-shirts—a shade similar to “sugar paper” blue— whose packaging is completely bio-compostable. For those who want to support the CORRI LA VITA project but cannot visit one of the distribution points, the official T-shirt, while supplies last, will be delivered free of charge throughout Italy thanks to an agreement with BRT / BoxOffice Toscana: simply make a minimum donation of 10 euros—plus any applicable commission fees—directly here.
To participate in the event, registration on the website is required starting September 1, along with a minimum donation of 10 euros and collection of the T-shirt either online or at the distribution points.
In anticipation of the big celebration in September, on July 23, choreographer Virgilio Sieni, as part of the series “Vivente, sulla questione della cura” (Living, on the theme of care), began a collaborative journey with the Florence Dragon Lady LILT team, which will culminate in a performance on the Arno River.
At noon on September 28, the performance titled “Scorrere” (To Flow), organized by Virgilio Sieni together with the Florence Dragon Lady LILT, will take place — starting from the Canottieri of Ponte Vecchio and arriving at Ponte alla Carraia.
CORRI LA VITA extends its thanks to the volunteers of LILT – Florence Provincial Association, Firenze Marathon Association, Città Nascosta Association, and FILE – Italian Palliative Care Foundation, who will be stationed along the route, as well as to the official photographers and videographers of the event, Matteo Bonan and Lapo Pecchioli.
CORRI LA VITA is a project founded in 2003 to support women affected by breast cancer. It funds initiatives focused on prevention, early diagnosis, treatment of the disease, and psychological support for patients.
